“You want to go immediately”

Prior to this season, Milan permanently brought Yassine Adly from Bordeaux. They decided to leave the midfielder on loan at the club for one year and so far, it turned out to be a good decision.

The Rossoneri aren’t exactly in a midfield crisis, so leaving Adly on loan for one more season made sense. The 21-year-old has continued to develop and this season has been one of the best midfielders in the league.

It is clear that Milan is very happy with the signing they made and the player himself is happy with the move. Speaking to Le Parisien, as cited by TopMercato, he admitted that this season will be positive for him in the long run.

“When a team like this signs you, we want to leave immediately, but this year it will help me prepare myself. And I want to help Bordeaux to have a good season. The coach expects me to be more decisive,” he said.

There was talk of an early comeback in January as Milan will be without Franck Kessie and Ismail Bennacer during the Africa Cup of Nations. However, this has not yet been confirmed.
