According to a recent study, people who usually eat avocados have fewer calories.

In the new study, Mexican families who had an average of 14 avocados per week over six months were analyzed.

After eating healthy, families found that avocados would make them feel fuller after eating.

The study, which was recently published in the journal Nutrients, showed that people who eat avocados often tend to follow a healthy diet.

Families who participated in their study reduced their consumption of processed meat, chicken, and eggs.

Surprisingly, people who consumed 14 avocados per week also reported lower intakes of calcium, iron, sodium, vitamin D, potassium and magnesium, which the researchers explained was linked to lower intakes.

Dr Lorena Pechigo, of the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, said: “Our results show that a nutritional education and intervention group eating large amounts of avocados significantly reduced the total energy intake of their families, as well as carbohydrates, protein and fat (including saturated).
