USMNT midweek viewing guide: Peacocking

No European continental matches this week, but there is plenty for USMNT players to play for their clubs! Let’s get into it:

Tuesday

  • Atalanta vs Venice, 12:30pm on Paramount+: Gianluca Bossio And Tanner Tessman He continued to grow into bigger roles with Venice, who lost to Inter last time, but still had a little cushion above the relegation zone due to two back-to-back wins before that. Atalanta is a hot comer, beating Juventus last time and dropping 5 goals to Spezia in the previous league match.
  • Newcastle United v Norwich City 2:30p on PeacockJosh Sargent played wide in Dean Smith’s first two games in Norwich, including the Canary’s second win of the year.
  • Salernitana – Juventus, 2:45 pm on Paramount +Weston McKinney’s knee injury “shouldn’t be too serious” according to Max Allegri, but his situation is in this match.
  • New England Revolution Fifth New York City, 7:30p on FS1, FOX Deportes, fuboTV (Free trial), Sling TV, FoxSports.com: Farewell week wasn’t kind to Colorado, as they lost to Portland. Let’s see if Matt Turner and New England can do better as they host James Sands and New York City at Gillette Stadium.
  • Banfield v Independiente, 7:30p on Paramount+, Fanatiz, fuboTV, Sling TV, AFA PlaySoñora-vs-Soñora: Rare work, as Alan Independiente guest Banfield host Joel in Argentina’s top flight.

  • Cremonese vs Frosinone, 12 p.m: Andrija Novakovich has scored one goal and one assist in 9 matches of the second division for Frosinone, who is fourth after 7 unbeaten matches.
  • Unami CP vs Alaves, 1p on ESPN +: Matt Miazga did not start on the 5th in a row. Let’s see if he enters the field against what appears to be a fifth-tier opposition in the opening round of the King’s Cup.
  • Antalyaspor – Amed SportiveAl-Hajj Wright missed the last 3 matches due to an unknown injury, after scoring 4 goals in his first 11.

  • Nantes – Marseille, 3 points over FanatizConrad continues to play regularly for Marseille, starting against Troy at the weekend.
  • Rennes v Lille, 3p on Fanatiz, fuboTV, Sling TVIt was a disastrous start for Lil Tim Weah in the league, as he sits thirteenth and faces second-placed Rennes.

  • Nieciecza v Raków, 8:30 a.m.: Since returning from a knee injury, Ben Lederman started 7th straight for last year’s runner-up in Poland, scoring the assist last time.
  • Bologna vs Rome, 12:30pBrian Reynolds is likely to be sold or loaned in January.
  • Troyes v Lorient, 1p on Fanatiz, fuboTV, Sling TVEric Palmer Brown has played twice for Troy so far this season, as has Dutchman Philip Sandler.
  • Gimnástica Segoviana v Mallorca, 1p on ESPN +Matthew Hoppe is likely to miss the first round match of the King’s Cup due to injury.

  • Aberdeen vs Livingston 2:45 AM: Cristian Ramirez has 9 goals for Aberdeen already, but the club is eighth out of 12 in Scotland. Ramirez confronts Scott Bateman, who has Scottish citizenship.
  • Aston Villa Fifth Manchester, 3:15 p.m. on Peacock: Zach Stephen will probably warm the bench for Ederson.

Thursday

  • CD Utrillas v Valencia CF, 1:30p on ESPN +Younes Moussa scored a goal and made some memories for Valencia in the King’s Cup last year. This year’s cup campaign starts against a much smaller club.
  • Celtic v Hearts, 2:45p on Paramount+: Cameron Carter Vickers and Celtic faced the old Berry Kitchen Club in Scotland.
  • PUMAS ONE against Atlas, 10p on TUDN, fuboTV, TUDN.comSebastian Sosedo and Pumas in the Liga MX semi-finals.

Also at work:

  • Maccabi Haifa v Hapoel Haifa, 1:30p: Josh Cohen is likely to start in the net for Maccabi in this Israeli derby.
  • Ibiza Petiosas vs Tenerife, 3amChuck Moore and Samuel Shashua enter the King’s Cup.
