“Dance b**ch!” Tori Lenz shouted. A Los Angeles detective testified in court on Tuesday, when he allegedly shot fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the feet last year after a Kylie Jenner pool party.
When she got out of the car, I heard Mr. Peterson yelling obscenities at her, and said, ‘Dance, you bitch! Detective Ryan Stogner said during the preliminary hearing in Linz in Los Angeles County Superior Court: “Then he started shooting her with a weapon.
The officer also alleged that Lenz – real name Dystar Shimuel Showa Peterson – was drunk during the July 2020 shooting, and Stugner reiterated the Savage singer’s allegation that Lenz tried to bribe her into keeping quiet, Rolling Stone reported.
Meghan stated that the defendant apologized for doing so and offered her money and begged her not to say anything, citing the fact that he was already under surveillance and begging her not to say anything,’ as Stogner testified.
Lenz, who has repeatedly denied the allegations, yelled in court to the officer on Tuesday: “How about you tell me what I was apologizing for, brother? That doesn’t make any sense.”
The rapper is charged with one count of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and one count of carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm in a car after a roadside altercation after the two left Jenner’s pool party.
Megan was trying to get out of the SUV she was in with Lenz when he opened fire inside the car. Footage also showed police ordering the two men to leave the car and put their hands in the air, with bloody feet on the pavement.
Prosecutors also alleged that he inflicted significant bodily harm on Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pitt.
Linz has pleaded not guilty to the charges and has defended himself on social media.
However, despite his innocence claims, after hearing testimony on Tuesday, the judge decided to go ahead with the trial which is set to begin on January 13. Lenz faces up to 22 years and 8 months in prison if convicted.

diet. Ryan Stogner alleged that Lenz apologized to Megan (pictured during the shooting in July 2020) after he shot and injured her, begged her not to tell the authorities, and even offered her money to keep quiet because he was under surveillance.
According to Stojner’s testimony, Lenz shot Meghan in the feet during a dispute between them after a party in the Hollywood Hills.
He claimed that Lenz was standing on the steps of an SUV, with Meghan outside, when he fired the shots. Hot Girl Summer hitmaker immediately fell to the ground in pain and tried to crawl away.
“[Megan] I noticed Mr. Peterson was carrying a firearm, and then I noticed he started shooting.
“Meghan immediately felt pain in her feet, noticed blood, fell to the ground, then crawled into a driveway next to a house… She described her injuries as bleeding profusely.”
A video released in July 2020 showed the moment Meghan was shot, fell and began to crawl, a scene that mirrors Stogner’s report.
The investigator also explained how Meghan initially told responding officers that she sustained her injuries by stepping on broken glass, according to TMZ.
She later admitted that she lied about the situation due to the “political climate” at the time, which was heavily focused on the murder of George Floyd and Defund the Police.
Meghan claimed she was afraid the police would shoot Lenz if they knew he had a gun in the car, according to Stogner’s testimony, echoing Meghan’s earlier claims.

Lenz’s attorney, Sean Holly – in an attempt to make holes in his testimony – questioned Stogner and put forward an alternative version of the attack.
Holly alleged that Megan got into a physical altercation with her friend and former assistant, Kelsey Harris, after Harris became jealous that the two Lenz were having a sexual relationship.
Did she (Meghan) ever tell you that the controversy in the car escalated when Tori revealed to Kelsey that he was having an affair with Meghan? Holly asked.
“I’m not aware of that,” replied Stugner.
Do you remember her saying Tori brought this up creating, in her words, ‘the drama’ because Meghan knew Kelsey had a romantic interest in the province?’ Holly asked.
“There was an indication that Meghan was aware that Kelsey had some affection for the defendant,” Stojner said before acknowledging that Meghan had told him during their interviews.
Lenz’s attorney, Sean Holly, alleged in court on Tuesday that Meghan (left) got into a physical altercation with her friend and ex-aide, Kelsey Harris, after Harris became jealous of Lenz (right) and Meghan was having an affair.
Holly then argued that Lenz had fired in an attempt to protect Megan from Harris, citing police body cam footage where he said, “I was just trying to protect my girl.”
“I was just trying to help my girlfriend,” Holly quoted Lenz in court. “I was just trying to help my shortcut.”
Stugner stated that he did not “remember” seeing the body camera footage, Rolling Stone reported.
Holly also noted that Harris, at one point, may have owned the gun that shot Megan, noting that investigators found the remains of a bullet in her hand.
Stugner, when questioned by Deputy Attorney General Kathy Ta, gunshot residue could be transferred to someone’s hand “near” a shooting.
Lenz, who remained mostly quiet during Tuesday’s hearing, had previously accused Meghan of ‘framing’ him during the shooting and even talked about the shooting multiple times on his 2020 album Daystar, referring to the song Money Over Fallouts, for the shooting. / But the boys are not clean enough.
Last month, in an interview with GQ, Meghan said that being shot and then having to publicly defend her experience online was the ‘worst experience in the world’. [her] life.’
According to her account of the incident, Meghan was simply trying to leave the party when she got in the car with Lenz, a move she was reluctant to take even as the controversy raged and her phone died.
Megan (pictured) initially lied about how she sustained her injuries, saying that she feared the police would shoot Lenz if they knew he had a gun in her SUV. The investigator’s testimony on Tuesday reiterated that claim.
When Meghan tried to get out of the car, Lenz allegedly shot her in the feet and hit her twice.
“Like, I’ve never laid my hands on anyone,” she said, recalling the script in disbelief. I hardly said anything to the man who shot me as I walked away. We were literally five minutes from home.
She said he begged her not to report the incident, which only fueled more fear.
“[At this point] Meghan told the magazine I was really scared. Because that’s like in the middle of all the protests. The police are killing everyone for no reason, and I’m thinking, ‘I can’t even believe you think I want to take some money. Like, you just shot me.
With helicopters hovering over the area and a large police presence, Meghan told officers at the time to “cut off”.
The rapper was accused of lying about the incident and later named Lenz as the person who shot her in the foot, which escalated into an internet war.
Then, she tweeted, ‘Black women are very unprotected and we reserve many things to protect other people’s feelings without considering our own.
“It might be funny for you all to talk on the internet and just another messy topic to talk about, but this is my real life and I’m hurt and traumatized in real life.”
Lenz was arrested in connection with the incident and charged. He posted $190,000 in bonds and ordered Meghan to stay away.
His lawyers, responding to TMZ last month about the blanket purchase allegations, said Lenz had never provided any money to any witness for their silence or for any other reason. Any reports to the contrary are false.
