Selena Gomez Just Debuted a Big Back Tattoo

Selena Gomez got a big back tattoo, tattoo artist Bang Bang revealed on his Instagram account this week, but close-ups of the design will have to wait. Bang Bang posted a photo of Gomez with her back inked, but it was taken so far away that it’s not entirely clear what Gomez chose to tattoo on her, but it’s just big. Commentators have begged for a better look, but for now, this teaser should suffice:

Gomez has not posted about the tattoos on her Instagram. She’s shared details about matching small tattoos she’s gotten in the past despite her three closest friends, Raquel Stevens, Ashley Cook and Courtney Lopez.

Gomez wrote in August 2018: “#4 Because these women have been by my side for 7 years (ashley_cook 12) 4, because you are 4 me for the rest of my life.” You all inspire me to be better, stronger, closer to God and we have already lived the craziest stories together. Can’t wait 50 more!! Psraquellestevens had an actual panic attack it’s a point! 🤦🏽‍♀️”

Gomez spoke to ELLE.com and other reporters recently about how her level of beauty has been warped from being famous at such a young age. Embracing her beauty was a process.

“I’ve been using makeup since I was seven. I’m starting to feel like this kind of messes with me.” “You’re so young and then you work. I have pros doing my makeup and all of a sudden I can look 25 when I was 16, and it was crazy. And then I was like, ‘Oh, I look so young all the time.'” I should achieve this look more. I must try it. It just made me wonder about my beauty for what it was.”

She created Rare Beauty, her makeup brand, for those who are just as skeptical about their looks. “I’ve been a victim of wanting to change my face and do things because I see such strong trends,” she continued. “I think the most rewarding part of creating this line is that we create a place for people who don’t necessarily want to get work done or change their faces. They just want to embrace who they are and what they have.”
