Sacchi praises ‘devastating’ Kessie and Leao in Milan’s win over Salernitana

Milan scored all three points at the San Siro yesterday in the match against Salernitana. They had no issues with the mission, in fact, taking the lead early on and then staying in control of the entire game.

Although it was a very comfortable performance for Milan, who did not have to put a lot of energy into it, some players stood out. Frank Casey and Alexis Sailmakers scored both goals, so they were later applauded.

Then the likes of Alessandro Florenzi and Rafael Liao gave a top class performance. The latter was taken off at HT due to a minor issue but during that first half he was able to make his way between opponents very smoothly.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by Milan News, former AC Milan manager Arrigo Sacchi shared his thoughts on the game. He highlighted the mentioned players, especially Casey and Liu.

“A big difference between the Rossoneri and Salernitana. Some things, though, I appreciate. For example, Leao and Kessie have done devastating things. The Florentine seems to be growing. The team seems to be doing well, but the defenders, I never tire of saying that, I have to We climb faster in order to shorten the distances between sections.”
