‘RHOBH’ star Lisa Rinna honors her mother Lois during first Thanksgiving without her: ‘We all cried’

Lisa Rinna honored her late mother, Louis, during the reality TV star’s first Thanksgiving holiday without her.

Rinna recently announced to fans that Louis had passed away after suffering a stroke. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared a photo of the table at her Thanksgiving celebration, which included a name card for her and her mom.

“This was the sweetest unexpected moment tonight,” Rinna commented on the post. “Behind my place card was a Lewis card. We all cried. Thank you @stephanie_asher for a lovely Thanksgiving.”

Rinna later posted a post noting the loss of her mother that read, “Let’s keep this candle burning for all of our loved ones who can’t be with us this Thanksgiving.”

The reality TV star announced her mother’s death on November 15 after fans were told about Louis’ condition.

Rinna first revealed, “I know how much you appreciate and love Louis, so I need to tell you she just had a stroke, and I’m with her now.” Instagram. “So let’s [sic] Celebrate her and send her lots of love as she moves on.”

“I was very upset to share this very sad news with you, but I know you want to know,” she added.

After the stroke, Rinna revealed how difficult it was for her.

“No one tells you how to do it,” she said on her Instagram Story at the time. “You know, there’s no proof. There’s never a way to be prepared to give it up.”

“We don’t learn death is OK,” she added. “It was never talked about, and we were never told it was okay to let go.”

Lewis suffered a previous stroke in 2013. In May 2019, Rinna wrote in Twitter, “My mum had a devastating stroke 6 years ago and had to learn to walk and talk again after months of rehab, she is one of the lucky ones. She is not like before but she has overcome a lot. We are lucky. And very grateful.”
