Pete Davidson skipped “Saturday Night Live” to go on a date with Kim Kardashian as the NBC show faces the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak.
The comedian, 28, and reality star, 41, were seen going to the movies in Staten Island together on Saturday night.
They arrived at the theater around 7pm, but it is unclear what movie they had seen.
Scott Disick and Disick’s boyfriend Chris Reza and another man were with Davidson and Kardashian, according to a source.
Earlier in the afternoon, Davidson was seen entering a hotel in Manhattan, where Kardashian is currently staying.
He got there with Disick around 6 p.m., fueling speculation that he won’t be attending ‘SNL’ rehearsal, which usually takes place around 8 p.m.
Then Kardashian’s SUV was spotted leaving the hotel around 6:20 p.m. and heading toward Staten Island.
The Post learned on Saturday afternoon that “SNL” was about to cancel tonight’s final episode of the iconic sketch show for the 2021 season — which will be hosted by Paul Rudd with musical guest Charli XCX — due to an outbreak of the COVID-19 positive internally. 19 cases after an insider told us that “four actors” had tested positive — and summoned “three more” because they were “afraid” to come to NBC’s studios at 30 Rockefeller Center.
A source said the show “should go on but don’t expect to see Colin Jost, Sarah Sherman or (Aristotle) Archaeologist.”
An insider told The Post that legendary “SNL” stalker Tina Fey was in talks to “fill” her old “Weekend Update” seat for Jost.
In addition, Charli XCX officially saved her performance saying that she was “shattered and smashed” due to the development of events.
