Official: Genoa vs. AC Milan starting XIs

Milan coach Stefano Pioli has made several changes to his starting lineup to face Genoa compared to the team that took to the field against Sassuolo at the weekend.

Pioli will use what many consider to be his strongest defence, with Pierre Callulu replacing Alessandro Florenzi at right back, Simon Kjeer and Fikayo Tomori (who has returned from injury and suspended Romagnoli) center back and Teo Hernandez on the left. He appeared in front of Mike Minnian.

There is a double change in midfield as well with the entry of Frank Kessie and Sandro Tonali, where Ismael Bennacer went off with an inner ear injury and Timoue Bakayoko on the bench.

The attack consisted of Rade Krunic on the left wing while Messias Junior started on the right, with Ibrahim Diaz playing the role of playmaker behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
