AC Milan are working hard on some major renovations following the announcement of the renewals of Simon Kjeer, Alexis Sailemakers and Stefano Pioli. Theo Hernandez is one of them, having become a fixture in the Rossoneri.
The French player has not only cemented his place in Milan’s starting line-up, but has also impressed the French national team. In short, it is crucial that the Rossoneri renew his contract and avoid another difficult contract situation.
According to Milan News, Milan is now pushing for the renewal of Hernandez, having had several conversations with his agent Quilon. Indeed, a new offer was proposed on Wednesday: renewal until 2026 with a salary of 4 million euros per year, excluding bonuses.
The left-back currently earns 1.5 million euros a year, so it would be quite a step up. The new contract will also include bonuses related to team and individual goals. It remains to be seen what will be the response to the offer.
