A report claims that AC Milan may be given the chance to sign Malang Sarr from Chelsea as they search for a new central defender following Simon Kjeer’s injury.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews) this morning, one of the profiles that could be presented to Milan after Kjaer’s serious knee injury is Chelsea’s Malang Sarr. The French central defender has barely played under Thomas Tuchel, which means a January exit is more than a possibility.
The Rossoneri can take advantage of the excellent relations with the Premier League to sign the 22-year-old, which has been built through various operations such as the deals of Fikayo Tomori, Oliver Giroud and Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Sarr has a contract with Chelsea until 2025 after joining from Nice on a free transfer in the summer of 2020, but he does not appear to be part of Tuchel’s plans as evidenced by his lack of playing time.
