Matthew McConaughey reveals Reese Witherspoon was one of his ‘early crushes’

Matthew McConaughey revealed that one of his “early crushes” was on Reese Witherspoon.

McConaughey admitted his admiration for Witherspoon as the two engaged in a quick Q&A on Thursday’s episode of “The Ellen Show.” McConaughey and Witherspoon promoted their movie “Sing 2.”

“I had some admiration for the young lady sitting to my left,” McConaughey said.

“[Reese] She was one of my first fans, and if you watch the movie, you’ll see! [It’s] It’s inevitable, what’s not to like? McConaughey admitted, referring to Witherspoon’s performance in the 1991 film, The Man in the Moon. That’s right, it’s a true story.”

However, Witherspoon admitted that her first crush was Val Kilmer as Jim Morrison in The Doors.

Witherspoon shared the moment McConaughey stole her heart.

“I’ve known Matthew for a long time, but the day he stole my heart and everyone’s heart, basically, in my personal life, was when he danced with every woman over 65 at my wedding,” she said. . “Here’s this guy. I mean, my mom might have died. She might have died. She was like, ‘Oh my God.'”
