Maignan and Tomori train with Milan squad again but Giroud needs another scan

A journalist claimed that some news of the mixed injury came from today’s training session ahead of Sunday’s home game against Sassuolo.

According to the latest from Antonio Vitilo From MilanNews on Twitter, a check on Olivier Giroud confirmed that he has developed a muscle problem in his left leg and the player will be re-evaluated within 10 days, which builds up with previous reports that he faces about a month.

The French player came out during the second half of Milan’s victory over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening and was holding his thigh, which showed that he was feeling some discomfort.

He adds that Mike Mainian and Fikayo Tomori have worked with the rest of the squad, so it is likely that they will be available to visit Nirverde this weekend. Maignan trimmed about four weeks of his estimated recovery time, while Tomori overcame a hip problem.
