Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2 fight results, highlights: ‘The Problem Child’ knocks Woodley out cold

Jake Paul’s fifth foray into professional boxing resulted in nothing but victories and boos from the crowd in Saturday’s rematch with former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. Hence the YouTube star and social media influencer thrive.

He tricked Paul (5-0, 4 KOs) with a punch to the body and overpowered the top with a flowing right hand to knock Woodley out of the cold and set off a raucous celebration inside the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Showtime pay-per-view competition saw 24-year-old Paul leave no doubt in ways he didn’t in August when he stuck to a split decision about Woodley at their first meeting.

The 192-pound cruiserweight match was contested and survived a late opponent switch as Woodley, 39, took the place of injured Tommy Fury, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, in less than two weeks.

“What now? What now? What now?” Paul shouted into the camera as referee Christopher Young raised his arm, who invalidated the fight at 2:12 of the sixth round.

The finale couldn’t have come at a better time for Paul as the rematch turned exclusively into a steady, low-production competition, very similar to the worst moments of their first meeting. But once Paul delivered the final blow, he got back to his daring ways by hopping over the corner fork and frolicking with older brother and fellow influential-turned-boxer, Logan Paul.

“This is as real as it gets, just like my right hand,” Paul said. “I told you I was going to get rid of him.”
