Fat Joe celebrated his son’s birthday with a heartwarming Instagram post on Wednesday.
“How do you tell someone who has given you so much joy in life, thank you?” The rapper shared “All The Way Up”.
“I love you Joey We all love you Joey Thank you for being my biggest blessing in life! Happy Birthday Joey God bless you”
The 51-year-old opened up about the birth of Joey as a teenager and became a young dad.

“Life is full of surprises. I was just a 19-year-old kid when I had Joey. It was one of the scariest days of my life.”
The American rapper explained of his son who has special needs: “The doctors said it wouldn’t be normal, and it’s hard to deal with such kids. My family and I didn’t think about giving up Joey.”

He continued, “It’s Junior. It’s a lot of work, it’s a constant sacrifice that parents make to keep their kids happy and most of all safe.”
In the tribute post, the New York City native discussed the importance of protecting Joey and keeping him out of the spotlight “because they are nasty items outside that I never wanted him to be exposed to.”

However, Joey’s birthday was an exception to his self-imposed rule of privacy, as the father of three shared all that this son had achieved.
He added, “Joey has accomplished more and I also believe he is keeping my parents alive because they love him so much.”
