LAFC announced today that the club has agreed to transfer midfielder Eduardo Atoista to Serie A club Palmeiras, in the Brazilian Serie A club.

His contributions to building LAFC have been tremendous, and we are grateful for how he represents the club. Edward has developed into an MLS All-Star and Best XI player of his time in LA, and it is a pleasure to see him It moves on to the performance of the team that won the Copa Libertadores 2020 and 2021.”
Atoista, 24, has been a vital part of LAFC’s midfield since joining the club early in his inaugural season in 2018. Originally acquired with Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) on February 27, 2018, from Colombia’s Independiente Medellin, he was selected Atuesta in the 2021 MLS All-Star Team and was a member of the 2019 Best XI League and was honored as a player in the MLS 22 Under 22 in 2018.
