Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market named best in California by site

The popular San Luis Obispo County Farmers Market is the best in California, according to online nutrition website Eat This, Not That!

The site ranked the Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market, which attracts droves of shoppers and foodies to San Luis Obispo on Thursday nights, among the best markets in the country.

Eat this, not that! Pick one farmer’s market in every US state, and choose events that “not only sell great merchandise in the fall but also excel when it comes to serving as community gathering spaces.”

“Farmers’ markets are great places to shop all year round,” the site said in an October 20 article.
