A report claims that the Guardia di Finanza has investigated AC Milan over possible financial irregularities along with other clubs.
Today’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via MilanLive) reports that checks have also been carried out at Casa Milan as part of the ongoing large-scale search to crack down on any capital gains and financial fair play irregularities.
Inter has been investigated and the Public Prosecutor has already opened an investigation against unknown persons, requesting documentation of all capital gains Inter made between 2017 and 2019. There are doubts about as many as a dozen deals made on players.
It goes back to December 9 when Fiamme Gialle (the sports department of the Italian police) sent a complaint to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in which doubts arose about some of the operations carried out by the Nerazzurri.
Checks were also made on AC Milan but nothing noteworthy was found in the transactions carried out by the Rossoneri in the relevant period.
