Chrishell Stause, Jason Oppenheim spend Thanksgiving serving meals to the homeless: ‘Tons to be thankful for’

Chishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim took the opportunity on Thanksgiving to make a big gesture to those in need.

The All My Children actress, 40, and luxury real estate mogul, 44, spent part of their vacation giving back to the Los Angeles community in a big way when the couple volunteered their time to serve hot meals to the homeless in Los Angeles.

“It was an amazing day volunteering with @thelamission who hosted such an amazing Thanksgiving for the homeless in Los Angeles today,” Stoss captioned a photo of her and her Sunset Sale boyfriend and girlfriend.

“This is an issue close to my heart and I feel talking about it helps break the traditional stereotype some people have of these people,” she added of the successful event.

Stause was taped after she explained that she endured a homeless period of time while growing up in Kentucky.

In her recently released memoir, Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took A Little Work, the realtor writes about her “crazy life journey,” which also includes her family’s struggles with addiction.

“I’ve had to start over again so many times in my life,” she told People magazine in September. “I always know how to look on the bright side because there was a lot of darkness.”

“The pandemic has forced many people to be in a place they never thought they would be,” Stoss admitted in her Instagram video post.

She continued on her message, adding, “I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving and thank you guys so much!”

The soap star and Oppenheim revealed their romance to the world in July when pictures of the two of them packing a personal digital assistant while on vacation in Rome surfaced online.

Oppenheim told Fox News Digital in September that while Stause was able to adapt to the spotlight easier than he had been, the love trip was a whirlwind for him — especially when it came to dealing with spying paparazzi.

Oppenheim explained at the time when asked, “It’s funny you mentioned that because we were just — we’ve already had paparazzi following and taking pictures of us in the past couple of days, including at dinner last night, which I just saw today.” about his newly discovered notoriety.

“I just don’t read anything anyway, so sorry everyone is wasting their time – good or bad,” he said sarcastically. “I think it goes with the territory and it’s part of the responsibility to be a person in the public space.”
