Chlöe Talks About Having Confidence In Her Body

It has been an eventful and exciting year for her renal Also known as Chloe Bailey. Chloe got into the music game as a two-member group with herself and younger sister Halle Bailey. But at the top of this year, the two have turned into individual artists by creating two separate Instagram accounts instead of just owning one. Chlöe then started shooting online after showing off her body in things like TikTok’s Buss It Challenge and in photo shoots.

She then released her first single “Have Mercy” on September 10, 2021, changed her name to Chlöe, and even gave her first solo performance without her sister at this year’s VMAs. Although she’s gotten a lot of praise this year, it also came with a lot of criticism about showing off her body.

Both the love and hate that comes with being a celebrity can take a toll, and Khloe will discuss how it affects her mentally in a new episode of the Facebook Watch series Peace of Mind with Taraji P. Henson. “Social media is such a love and hate thing. You constantly compare yourself on the internet with other people,” she said in a clip from the season two finale.

In another clip, she said, “Since I was a little girl, I’ve always been kind of curvy to the point that sometimes it was like the most insecure.” As she recounted once when she noticed her stretch marks. She said she was on a hiking field trip and she was 12 years old. At the time, it wasn’t anything she would celebrate or embrace but she said “As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to really appreciate my curves. I love stretch marks.”

She added, “Anytime I take a picture I say ‘No, don’t spray stretch marks because I love them.'” She also said she’s noticed people saying she “does a lot” by flexing her body, but she sees it’s okay because she made them talk about her.

Chlöe’s guest appearance on the episode “Peace of Mind with Taraji P. Henson” airs December 20 on Facebook Watch.
