Matteo Gabbia ended up on Cagliari’s wish list. The young player may not have played much this season but the Sardinians are monitoring his situation ahead of January, according to a report.
The 22-year-old has had three matches with the Rossoneri and they have included some ups and downs. Although he is wanted now that Simon Keirer has finished this season, perhaps a move in January should not be ruled out.
Milan are looking for a central defender in the market and they also have Pierre Kalolo on hand, who can play in that position. According to Unione Sarda, as reported by MilanNews24, Cagliari is interested in Gabbia’s services.
In addition to the Italian international, they have their eyes set on the following players: Armando Izzo (Torino), Marach Kumbula (Roma) and Matteo Lovato (Atalanta). Head coach Walter Mazzarri has requested defense reinforcements and it remains to be seen what comes of them.
