Adam Levine Got Some New Ink!

Known for his extensive collection of tattoos, Levine, 42, did new body art on the red carpet with wife Behati Prinsloo, 33, by his side. While in Miami to celebrate his 100th birthday during Art Basel, Maroon 5 came out with fresh ink on his face.

The rocker apparently got a single black rose tattooed down his left temple, which can be seen wrapping his arms around his wife’s waist on the red carpet.

It’s unclear if the new Levine is a reference to the new pink-tinged tequila that he and Prinsloo launched earlier this year – Calirosa Tequila.

While tequila is usually aged in whiskey casks, pink tequila is aged in red wine casks, giving it its pink color.

“Adam and I love Mexico and first tried pink tequila when we were there three or four years ago. We were quite amazed. I had never heard of tequila in red wine barrels, so I was thinking, ‘That’s crazy!'” Do they dye them? Prinsloo previously told people.

Levine has added several new tattoos to his ever-growing collection in the past year. He debuted a butterfly on his neck in October, and in August he spent 13 hours over two days getting an intricate Japanese-inspired design inked on his right leg by tattoo artist Bill Canales.

The musician’s passion for tattoos runs deep – he has over two full sleeves on his arms and over a dozen other designs inked on his body.

“Tattoos end up being a weird roadmap or a weird story over the years,” he told PEOPLE in 2013 of his sexiest man alive cover. “They always remind me of this long, weird, wonderful journey.”
